After having our debut in the World Championship in 2023 and after finishing 2nd in Academy, we decided to get back to basics and make some strong decisions for 2024.
As anticipated in our 2023 season review, this year we won’t be on the World Championship grid. This decision comes after months of analysis – we preferred to focus on getting a full PRO lineup to try and build the squad in a way that can guarantee promotions from within the team.
So, we are very pleased to confirm that we will have a full lineup in the PRO division for the first time. Sergio Fletcher will remain in the team, and will be joined by Alessandro Maggio, who got promoted from Academy, Daniil Migunov (another driver promoted from ACA) and Brazilian new signing Lucas Murno. This is a very strong lineup, a lineup that we feel can challenge for titles.
So, the Academy lineup is also quite different compared to previous years. Firstly, we decided to focus on less drivers, so we will stick with a 4-drivers squad.
Dan-Ove Brantholm stays with us for the third full season in a row, and will probably be challenging for top 5 in the standings this year. The rest of the lineup sees a few familiar faces returning to the squad: Ruben van den Hudding makes the move from NetRex after impressing in 2023, while Chris Gitsov returns to the FSR lineup after driving in PRO in 2022. Massimiliano Ribolli completes the ACA team, returning for a full season for the first time since 2021.
We are very happy with our lineups, and we surely hope for a successful season.
